The Melton TT B6047  ride is now 50mph over the whole of its section, still 50 or 60 no matter really no one sticks to 60 on a bike

i bought this weeks MCN as it had a road test GEN3 V GEN1 i was going to put pics on here but after reading it its pretty pants

they did a tank brim to light test for mpg  riding around Grantham area as usual, criticised both for being a big cumbersome on twisty roads, but mine was fine on that B1176 road yesterday :D

1999 GEN1  37 MPG

2021 GEN3  40 MPG

Well that sounds "accurate" why are people so dim :beat:

It will be fine at 50 mph :D But yeah i know what you mean

I assumed they topped up tank

otherwise how would they know the litres

Gen1 will be worse when accurate Mileage is used rather than odometer reading

Meh  Oh, it's okay, I'll go paint a 1 in front :D

Remember that Mercedes Mark, think it was an AMG E63 S Estate  That was quick on the Melton TT but boy did it make us laugh making all sorts of shapes to get round the corners....his stability control was working hard

Did they mention they topped the tank up or estimated whats left? Maybe the manual says about 3 liters left

I wouldn't assume anything. This journalism seems to be very easy if you make assumptions....for example, they test ride a bike, and if you have never ridden one before, you have to take their word for it....then you buy and you wonder if you bought the same model .

We know the gen 1 and 2 mileage is about 10% out.....the gen 3??? What was the gearing on the gen 1?

Take it with a pinch of salt :)
