We did bit of a research on the 2017 gsxr1000 intake adjuster, just from the pics and videos available, it looked like it would fit Hayabusa valve train, sprocket tooth count, chain type etc. But, as the engines have so different revving behaviour it may not come in play before Busa`s revs are all used.

So, you need a strong bottom range that you have something to cut down with the electronics ?

That is also the case with big blocks, few times talking about the power curve and why is it weaker at lower revs using bigger cams, our tuner reminds that you dont need the torque at low revs, it only creates problems for handling

It is very usual there are shims around 2.80 thickness, as stock. If there was 2.58 and it should be 2.78 , there is 0.45mm clearance on cyl1 exhaust valves, too much loose on top of valve. I just wonder if there was ticking sound and he missed it. edit: numbers corrected
