  1. not sure you can do much more as you have one of those fragile light blocks
  2. Engine braking and anti wheelie wonder if it has patented VVT installed ? so whip the exhaust and get 220 at the wheels it certainly a way better bike than that whizzy supercharged H2 SX and probably lighter too
  3. its a sports bike no one wants a centre stand dragging on the floor
  4. yanks are also saying its got Cruise control via SET and RES buttons
  5. no one knows whether it's still 1340, 1400 or 1441 hopefully we know more come Friday morning or does it have an all new cylinder head with bigger valves never believe anything you read about things from the Indian sub-continent - it's fake news - look at how wrong the images are except when it is about Royal Enfield
  6. yes but a high quality fridge handle -Like you find with SMEG so apart from the 'fridge handles' you like the rest
  7. view from ex-zzr1400 owner on heat dissipation Guessing they're a necessary evil to move hot air away from the rider, although from my brief ZX-14 ownership, they didn't work on that bike. It was like riding on the surface of the sun compared to the cool Bus.Lots of nice details exposed in these pics. Very happy to see the old 1980's Lego block fluid reservoirs finally gone, and the gloss painted surfaces of the inner cockpit fairings look classy (although they may not be great riding in direct sunlight... ). So glad Suzuki has started incorporating running lights on the front of their bikes! Only a decade or two late but.... Digging the chrome-look deco spear on the fairing, makes for a nice highlight, and it may even be functional as a sacrificial part in a tip-over? Also the modernized Kanji looks the part. Bold and new! And split tail lights? You saw them on the 2020 Katana first. I wonder if that's going to be a "Suzuki thing" as the existing models get revamped in the future?Looks like the new-for-1999 frame still though, not that there's anything wrong with that.
  8. once the bikes being kicking around a year, most i think nice iconic bike the Gen1 is . it looks dated most will see the new Gen3 looks as improvement over Slo8 WAITING FOR Roddy's seal of approval
  9. Over in US there queuing up to apply 12” stretch and 300 rear tyre
  10. Gen3 easier on the arm reach for those under 6 foot - rider closer to the bars Gen1 easier to get behind screen - neater tuck for Top Speed
  11. zoom into rear swing axle - looks like the good old flaking paint Gen2 - same parts bin as said the riding position is a little more race than tourer , i had better up my yoga and stretching to keep supple, increase cycling cadence to get Gen3 fit............... eventually
  12. yes, just spent the last 15 minutes perusing the design ... Conclusion is i like it it could never have been a further bloated Gen2 or return to the 90's Gen1 it's a YES from me
  13. so basically all the 5 years of speculation CAD rendering artists were completely wrong , no one expected the Star Wars pod racer design
  14. maybe - need to see if John is correct with UK not allowed to meddle with the emission and when one on here buy's first , and runs it up on John's dyno
  15. John its even got zzr 1400 Gen2 grills that might tempt quite a few from the Green side it looks way lighter than Gen1 and 2 and more nimble
  16. still got them long fuck off long footrest road wear pegs i like it - look forward to MCN style busa v outgoing zzr road test
