  2. I have to admit the Gen3 and the Gixxer lost me on the unfamiliar roads of Southern Scotland they were flying what’s the old adage !!! “ride as fast as you can see”. Went out the window i joined them at a junction near Hawick ( Scottish southern town ) but the road was full of blind twists and corners etc not that familiar with the road they were from Newcastle and it’s their go to ride route. i backed off and caught up with them at a scenic border point Scotland and England and had a chat he had previously owned a busa Gen1 and ZZR1441 he said busy had more ground clearance than Kwak and Gen1/Gen2 busa “ Carter bar “ Ian will know that
  3. My gen1 has Öhlins rear shock and Öhlins front springs, stiffer than stock. I have gsxr1000 intake stacks, there is almost no stacks at all. So. where is the big advantage of gen3, ( all bow to the mighty gen3 ) I would put out a challenge to race against gen3 with my old crappy gen1 (when i get it finished)
  4. So thats why it was so restless. My racebike has increased rake, i dont know how much, but the front is way out.
  5. The Gen3 had stiffer front springs + Nitron rear shock he also had short intake stacks
  6. Allright, that is it, gen1+2 front rake is 24.2 degrees, gen3 it is 23 dg Just wondering how much would the rake change if dropping the front end on gen2 and keeping the rear at std height, or even lifting it
  7. He was saying front rake is 23 degrees way better than Gen2 (his words not mine ) he was riding with a gixxer though the riders were old 60+ with grey hair
  8. Why is that ? Where is the difference if you installed the same parts in gen2 ? Its like i have Öhlins rear shock and front springs in my gen1, its way better than stock gen3

  10. I spoke to a Gen3 owner on three Scottish Borders , he fitted updated front springs and nitron rear rates the handling far superior to the Gen2
  11. Im 19 stone ringing wet, ive not found a brand new gen 3 yet that has any measurable static sag from brand new. Ive even had to wind the rings on the rear shock anti clock 2 turns to achieve 35mm of rider sag. I dont know if they put a heavier spring on a 2023 but mine feels perfect for solo south wales scratching. Bit soft 2 up though. The front is soft when being agressive but not out of reasonable range with a bit of extra pre load and reb/comp.

  13. Hi guys ! I've found also the web site as you propose Vanishing Point. I've just received it today : and, something like that : Of course, if anybody want, i can share the data ... it's just a little bit complicated to use it : It's an old CD-ROM, I've created an ISO file, I can share it, but you need a old Windows XP system on your PC : I've build one with VirtualBOX, but not easy for non experimented users on it.

  18. If its anything like a modern 4-wheeled vehicle then there will be loads of potential inputs: Clutch switch Brake switches Gear position sensor Inclinometer ABS reluctor rings/sensors and this is just to get you started, so you now enter the world of requiring a diagnostics scanner and for the Gen3 I don't even know if one exists, so it would be off to the main dealer, but check first if they have the diagnostics kit? BHM
  19. Sounds like something to do with 'Hill start' - did you accidently turn something on or off ? So, more detail - cut out dead? , wouldn't rev but ran?, etc. Exactly which lights were on on the dash and what were all the codes shown (it may be exactly as you said, but we've experienced many a time when key info wasn't given)
  20. not many owners of Gen3 on this forum This bikes ECU and the amount of sensors is complex it’s expected to have some glitches, the more it’s reported ti Suzuki GB - more chance of having a fix
  21. hello anyone else had issue, today rode my 2022 busa on dual carriageway, accelerated steady upto legal speed and bike cut out ,F1 and HILL! flashing amber..pulled clutch and went into lay by..turned off key then turned back on an it restarted but flashing f1 hill! Rode fine an after turning bike on off couple times fault cleared from dash ..any ideas on why.. dud something hit sensor triggering shut down? Is it known fault/issue? Cheers
  22. thank you for the download link. I'm looking for the L3 Service manual (it's a Gen 2 Hayabusa, but with ABS module), i don't succeed in finding it ... do you have ?
  23. it's all about damn emissions , all about keeping power with tighter CO2 CO2 is the gas of life - we need more CO2
  24. When they introduced the 2017 gsxr intake timing adjustment i was trying to see if it was possible to fit that one in Busa camshaft, and it did look compatible. But then, it would cost 500-600e and the advantage in highly tuned n/a was marginal. Even it could not work if the revs in Busa engine was going high enough, compared to gsxr, or at least the engine character was so different.
