Born in '61 I have lives breathed and loved motorbikes since I was 7 years old, raced sidecars in my early 20's and raced a few production races locally but at sixty that windows blinds are drawn and I am a more sedate rider these days, the reflexes have slowed and all the crashes I've witnessed and friends lost kinda slows you down a bit. Have a few old classics a Hardley a BMW 650 single XS650 ....... I like to go out over the fell on a nice day and chuckle at the Ninjas as they come racing past weaving (to warm the tyres....silly buggers) or forcing a style with the knee out .....I catch them all up ......on the Beemer or Hog and once or twice the Norton Dominator.......and there is always accidents sadly every year. But my other passion is my daughter and wife, and we have great friends with her mam and dad, my in laws who are the very best............ I love the summer and getting the bikes out......but my time is running out and dread the day I will have to hang me lid up for good.
