i could be wrong and Mekinley can correct me, same 18:43 BUT WITH 55 profile tyre

Mekin must sort the hole at 5,000 on torque curve

It was stock gearing with a half worn 55 tyre, when I finish the house off I'll have another go at it

    Now it has happened,

production car accelerates faster than Gen3 Busa,

they should have made it 1441cc,

(how do you say "plaid" , if i was just reading it i would say "played", not "p+ lad")

I watched this yesterday, what an impressive car the Tesla is! I saw another video posted on this site where a bike was drag racing a different Tesla (bike won) but you could see the Tesla on the start line getting close to wheeling!

I thought the gen3 had launch control, which presumably would take care of the wheelie, or is that only for the duration of 1st gear?

How many of us have beat the Tesla's time ?

    What did it manage Enf?

I guess this is eactly why we now have sensors that measure all sorts, because we like talking about it and comparing riding styles etc. Also it does allow us to prove whether the chicken strips are because you're a chicken or if indeed that particular tyre profile you claim cannot be used to the edge :coffeebreak:. I guess launch control is going to be rarely used, but possibly useful at elvington :turbobusa:

Even though they have spend little in the R&D dept you do have to wonder if they will get any worthwhjile profit from it.

What market does it appeal to?

    US? Who want somethinf fast...No

    Sport tourers? Fuel..riding position...No

Thier only competition are discontinued bikes.

Can only be a flag waving exercise untill they have something 'up to date'.

I guess they need to be applauded for having something that can be bought new.

Lets all move on to hoping for the GEN4

Yeah, perhaps they've adopted the microsoft philosophy, every other version is rubbish :whistling:

I forgot to remove the link sorry we dont have a website there anymore.

How come you no longer have a website? I'm currently researching the top speed events as somebody or bodys seem to have nominated me for a go :swoon:

In other news I quite like the new bike, not 100% on all of it yet but yet to see one in real life.

I'd quite like the dash and all the extra electronics on my bike if that's possible

But if the Gen 3 is bigger than 1407 I may have to revist a shop up in Yorkshire

Had to Google "OG". STILL not sure....:D

Quite a long read as there is a bit of history to the phrase, but it is now used quite widely to" praise someone or something that is considered authentic and excellent, often in an admirably old-school or classic way". In other words somebody that was there in the beginning and knows of the beaky legend. I assume, but am not certain without having recently seen a photo, but is the mothership a beak?
