@madmattt

The Melton TT B6047  ride is now 50mph over the whole of its section, still 50 or 60 no matter really no one sticks to 60 on a bike

i bought this weeks MCN as it had a road test GEN3 V GEN1 i was going to put pics on here but after reading it its pretty pants

they did a tank brim to light test for mpg  riding around Grantham area as usual, criticised both for being a big cumbersome on twisty roads, but mine was fine on that B1176 road yesterday :D

1999 GEN1  37 MPG

2021 GEN3  40 MPG

Well that sounds "accurate" :rolleyes: why are people so dim :beat:

It will be fine at 50 mph :D But yeah i know what you mean :thumbs:

I assumed they topped up tank

otherwise how would they know the litres

Gen1 will be worse when accurate Mileage is used rather than odometer reading

Meh :huh: Oh, it's okay, I'll go paint a 1 in front :D

Remember that Mercedes Mark, think it was an AMG E63 S Estate :lol: That was quick on the Melton TT but boy did it make us laugh making all sorts of shapes to get round the corners....his stability control was working hard :nod:

Did they mention they topped the tank up or estimated whats left? Maybe the manual says about 3 liters left :huh:

I wouldn't assume anything. This journalism seems to be very easy if you make assumptions....for example, they test ride a bike, and if you have never ridden one before, you have to take their word for it....then you buy and you wonder if you bought the same model .

We know the gen 1 and 2 mileage is about 10% out.....the gen 3??? What was the gearing on the gen 1?

Take it with a pinch of salt :)

So, around 195miles on gen1 would be good then
