Yes I saw that. I wonder if he was expecting the electronics to catch the slide when it was practically switched off. I'm guessing 1 is the least intrusive setting.

traction control set to minimal intrusion = 1

anti wheelie = 1

not turned off but set to minimum

even so I was not expecting that :zipped:

Could they have been turned down below a level he expected?

Wasn't there a lot of criticism about F1 cards a few years back when they were considered 'easy' to drive?  The active suspension, aero, traction & stability etc doing all the work and the driver just pointed it with his foot hard down on either the throttle or the brake.  Get used to that then have a go with them all switched off and it would be a fun ride.

I guess it doesn't matter how good a bike you make, the rider can always crash it :nod:

I suppose with other makes offering just 3 levels of TC instead of 10, he/she may have assumed position 1 would be equal to other makes, when possibly the busas position 3 would be the same as level 1 ......so

busa (10 levels)          other makes ( 3 levels )

                    1        =    crash or OFF :D

                    3        =    1

                    5        =     2

                   10       =    3

But yes as Roddy says, a rider makes it happen, or not :D

Expected? - TBH he shouldn't be expecting anything on a new bike. You have to learn it first if you don't want a nasty surprise. Most of us learn this when moving up from 125's....
