  1. That's a thief Matt, not a dealer. Worth remembering him for business once the hype has died down and they're struggling to stay afloat.
  2. What if there's an updraft and you're wearing 1970's flares? I'd have thought that 0-60 on a bike is more about the rider's abilities than the bike. Maybe 80-140 would be a better comparison?
  3. Bugger, he's faster than most when he's two up. Everyone will say it's the DD3
  4. He didn't say if anyone pulled on the fairings looking for milk? Glad he's happy though
  5. But I don't mind really. I just like having the kit.
  6. What if you have a faster bike but are still slower
  7. Could they have been turned down below a level he expected? Wasn't there a lot of criticism about F1 cards a few years back when they were considered 'easy' to drive? The active suspension, aero, traction & stability etc doing all the work and the driver just pointed it with his foot hard down on either the throttle or the brake. Get used to that then have a go with them all switched off and it would be a fun ride. I guess it doesn't matter how good a bike you make, the rider can always crash it
  8. Did the back end step out as he was accelerating out of the corner? If so, you'd better hope he had all them electronics switched off
  9. Maybe they're holding back so they don't sell too many? Seriously though, you'd think they'd be all over that.. All you Gen 2 guys, the new must have - can you imagine being at a meet and DD3 turns up? You'll have to hide and sneak home. Easy finance terms, sign here! Maybe this is why I'm not in Marketing Afterthought. Or, don't slag off the Gen 2, we're still selling new old stock. Once they're gone though, the marigolds come off
  10. I'll print you personalised ones with your own 'special' logo
  11. Should help the crash bung designers though
  12. It's certainly better looking than the 2 but that's a compliment along the lines of 'you don't sweat much for a fat lass' I'd go for a paint job to hide the fridge handles and offload the wheelie bins if I were buying one. Looking forward to seeing how it runs against the 2. Has anyone done this?
  13. But you've only paid half of it. Or put it another way, you've paid half of it and given it away for fack all. Do people really do these deals?
  14. Come on Ian, spill the beans and put us naysayers in our place
  15. If every registered ukb member chipped in £5 we could share
  16. The older F1 cars used to do that. I was at a hospitality event, must be 8 years ago at least, and had a seat just beside the exit from teh pit lane at Silverstone. Cars were properly loud then but that unburnt fuel at gear changes was even lounder. Was awesome at the time , not so sure for everyday.
  17. Misuse of the phrase but maybe that's just us fatties Mark. Round my way, if someone makes hotcakes there's none left not half of them. Remember that busa owners have been waiting for 13 years for a new model to replace the dog's dinner they made of replacing the one launched 9 years before that Selling half the piddling allocation is not a success story when you've a 22 year market to sell into.
  18. Was interesting up to the market pish. Yes, everyone buys a busa for it's mid range, it's all everyone talks about down the pub. Yep, that's the original design influence of the fastest predatory bird in the world being adhered to. Yes, we had to make it more reliable because those doing 250,000 (or 100,000 on here) are always breaking down. Rubbish. They made another arse of it. Fridge-handled buggeration.
  19. At the wheel? That'll sort the 14R guys, there'll be a raft of them on the market soon
