  1. 8 from my work were in London overnight last Tuesday. All 8, including me, have covid and isolating. Not too bad for me this time around but the fittest (mad, downhill runner and cyclist) is on oxygen at home. His wife is a nurse, now also positive, as are his 2 children and the 1 grandchild, 4. No idea which variant but first symptoms for all of us were a cough and cold like symptoms followed by headache. If it goes beyond that, you're in bother. Negative lateral flow tests for 3 days before 1 showed positive. Combine this with the 'cold like' symptoms and you can see how it spreads like wildfire. Well that and the almost complete lack of mask wearing and hygiene measures we found in London. No one seems to give a flying fuck about anyone else down there, selfish pricks. Really wish we hadn't gone, organisers assured all was within guidelines but just being in London was the mistake. We cut the trip short returning on the first available train and have been isolating since (even before we finally tested positive). My temps and symptoms are almost back to pre trip levels but isolation continues for another 6 days. Easy to see why the buffoon is still in office, partying away and lining his pockets.
  2. The Tesla driven by Mr Average smoking the Gen3 with a professional drag rider won't help. The big Z put up a better fight and its what, 9 or 10 years older than the busa? Yup, they really shouldn't have bothered.
  3. Was just being grumpy, sorry Mark.
  4. So that's the first couple of monstrosities, who's going to post pics of the first chromed, spiky abortion bastard?
  5. I quite like that, well apart from the swing arm although the fridge handles could be darker. I'd probably have painted the nose section plastics in black too. But more important, what's been done to make more power?
  6. Are you alluding to Apple's court case? The software update which shortened the life of the battery in older phones?
  7. My work will be changing phones shortly, we can choose Apple or Android so I said just get me a Samsung one. Apparently the latest ones are over £1k and I'm thinking about how much bike stuff I could buy instead Glad I'm not paying for it
  8. No abusive reply from me Mick, it's a busa I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Why so few miles on the KTM?
  9. That's my point Mark, why buy one if you can have the same buzz for a fraction of the price. Who would pay £1000 (latest Galaxy S21) for a 2001 Nokia 6310 when you're just making phone calls?
  10. It's just not 'new' enough. Sounds strange a gen 1 guy saying that but really, it's just a tarted up marketing exercise imho.
  11. Why would you be wanting one of them Ian, didn't yours come with one?
  12. Cheers John, the long stacks advantage being better torque low down at the expense of the top line hp?
  13. What's the reason for these holes?
  14. True but it's all splitting hairs. There should have been no doubt, the Gen 3 should be leaving the gen 2 way behind it and if they wanted to retain it's reputation, it needed to scare the current litre bikes.
  15. Well that doesn't look like it's going to struggle with a gen 2 Gen 2 run in the depths of winter too. Still not the blown 1500 it should've been.
  16. For all the mickey taking it's still a bike and I'm sure it'll be fine to ride around on. It's a done deal now so until (if) a g4 appears, that's it. If it's your kind of bike, buy one and enjoy it Here's a last thought though. Is there anyone, anywhere, who was awaiting the new bike who thinks, 'Yes! Suzuki did it. Everything I hoped for and more!' How long is that queue compared to the disappointed one? #kingofthelandofmissedopportunities
  17. Bike magazine ran 0-60 in 2.6 and 4.92 0-100 in 2008 So it's slower, slower accelerating, you still need to re-work the suspension and replace the wheels. But you get gadgets and fridge handles. All for £16,500 and a slap in the face trade in on your faster bike. Why didn't you sign there and then
  18. Cheers for posting up this important public service post then Mika
  19. How much does that fuel mix contribute to the mpg numbers reviews were talking about? Wonder who'll be the first to try dropping the gen 2 throttle bodies onto one. @JOHN-DYNOSTAR the big tail off? I don't think Mika's kit is going to have that problem
  20. You know he's gonna be on here swearing don't you
  21. Did it not seem to be struggling to accelerate in 4th & 5th then? Maybe just because he's a big lad?
  22. Did he just get it into 5th and then shut off or was that 6th and I missed a change?
